Brandon Aaron and Dylan all read their first words for the first time last night.

We worked on phonics and then each of them got three three letter words to sound and work on.

It was amazing.
I just love that look on their face when they sound out the word over and over and it finally clicks. Just whammo, out of the blue, RECOGNITION, ACCOMPLISHMENT, then utter pride and joy. All three of them were so excited about it.

Aaron needs some more work on his phonics. Brandon has a better grasp on phonics than Aaron since Brandon went to a pre-school that focused more on phonics than on visual recognition of the letters.
Either way both of them are pretty well equiped for kindergarten. Tami spends time with them on numbers and counting and even adding so they are good to go there. She also works with them on letters during the day, and I go over them with them at night.

Christians writing has improved tremendously.
